This is a special post dedicated to Funorama, a temporary event focused on having fun and only taking place in one of the most famous places of Paris: the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann!
A few days ago, I had the chance to be invited to the Galeries Lafayette to discover and have fun at their new attraction, smartly named FUNORAMA!
It was a very cool (and unusual!) experience, given that the Galeries Lafayette is a historical shopping landmark in Paris. In fact, the flagship store was created in the 19th century in the heart of Paris’ Opera district. It has always been a symbol of Parisian chic and elegance with over 3500 brands available, starting from the most affordable ones to the most luxurious! So enjoying this place in a new light was a very unique experience!
The main attraction is this suspended net under the dome! If you’re not afraid of heights, and like walking on an eccentric path while admiring the stunning details of the store’s architecture among others, you will love it! Personally, I had a great time and laughed way too much!
The other facilities are not shy from being extremely cool too: you can enjoy a ball pit, a Polaroid photobooth and even various Playstation areas so as to enjoy different games!
Here is the key information if you want to check Funorama out:
- it’s free and open to the public until May 26th
- it’s located on the 2nd floor of the main store of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann
- children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
- More info available here in French:
So if you are in Paris, go check this out! And have fun!
