My mom and I just got back from our 4 days roadtrip in Bavaria, and we couldn’t be more delighted! During those 4 days, we spent our first two days in Munich! For this first stop, I wanted to stay in the heart of the city so that my mom and I could easily walk around and explore, and there’s no hotel more luxurious in the area than the Hotel Bayerischer Hof!
This grand 5-star property was originally built in 1841. And fun historical fact, it has been owned and operated by the same family since 1897! The hotel boasts more than 330 rooms and suites of different styles, 40 halls and meeting rooms, 6 bars, 5 restaurants, a fitness center, a massive spa and a rooftop pool, a cinema, a nightclub and much more! We should have stayed a week to explore and experience it all!
So I thought it would be nice to share with you our experience at this hotel, and show you its services.
City breaks. Or how to go on holidays for two days!
This is something we can easily do while living in Europe. And it actually enables me to clear my head and to do so easily. The feeling you get after being away for two days is that you went on holidays. Sure, it’s intense, but so refreshing at the same time!
One of my favorite city breaks was Seville. The city is just AMAZING!
We did most of the sightseeing on the first day and walked a grand total of 16km. On the second day, we took our time and enjoyed taking pictures with a more relaxed schedule.
Paris is a lovely place to enjoy the festive season! There are many nice decorated spots and some beautiful Christmas trees! If you’re looking for perfect christmassy pictures, this is the right blogpost for you! In other words, I’ve listed all the places you can enjoy during the most beautiful time of the year in the capital of lights and love! And probably take some Instagram worthy shots!
Every year, a giant tree is erected in the very heart of the Galeries Lafayette’s central court. Standing high above all shoppers, it shines against a dazzling backdrop erected in Art Nouveau architecture! This tree is a sight to behold in itself and makes any stroll in the iconic department store well worth it. Only if you’re not afraid of crowds!
A trip to Morocco wouldn’t be complete without a stay at a riad, and we found a beautiful one in Marrakesh: Ksar Kasbah. Ksar Kasbah is a luxurious riad, located in the south part of the medina, near the mosque Moulay El Yazid and El Badii Palace.
Riads are traditional Moroccan houses which host an interior garden or courtyard in the center of it, with many rooms laid out around this center and often a terrace on the roof.
Most people go to Morocco to visit the Sahara Desert. But if you are like us and don’t have the time to drive 10 hours to the Sahara, the next best option is to camp at Scarabeo Camp, in the Agafay Desert. Scarabeo Camp is a luxury camp located 45 minutes from Marrakesh. You won’t get the soft sand from the Sahara, but the stone desert camp is also amazing!
