View PostAt the beginning of July, I spent a weekend in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. I was invited by Tbilisi City Hall to discover the charms of the city! If you are looking for a low key destination, this country should be on your list! Georgia has a lot to offer, in terms of hikes, nature, culture and food!
Here I’m listing all the best things to do in the capital, Tbilisi!
Abanotubani is the ancient district of Tbilisi, known for its sulphuric baths. I didn’t have time to go to one, but I was in awe in front of the architecture! My favorite one was Orbeliani Baths. It actually looks like a Persian mosque thanks to its shape and its tile!
Back in April, I spent four days in Rome. It was my second time there, so I already knew the city and I had already visited a few sites. Rome is my favorite city, besides my own. There is so much history in every corner, the atmosphere and vibes are outstanding, the food is amazing and it’s so pretty that it is hard not to fall in love with this city!
Today I’m listing all the must-dos for a first timer in the Eternal City!
Toss a coin into the fountain but make sure you do it the right way!
The Trevi Fountain, the largest fountain in Rome, is probably most well-known for the unique superstition and traditions surrounding it. Supposedly, if you toss a coin with your right hand over your left shoulder, you’ll be destined to return to Rome someday. If you want to take it a step further, you can throw three coins over your shoulder. The first one ensures your inevitable return to Rome. The second one promises you’ll find love. And the third one, that your love will lead to marriage.
City breaks. Or how to go on holidays for two days!
This is something we can easily do while living in Europe. And it actually enables me to clear my head and to do so easily. The feeling you get after being away for two days is that you went on holidays. Sure, it’s intense, but so refreshing at the same time!
One of my favorite city breaks was Seville. The city is just AMAZING!
We did most of the sightseeing on the first day and walked a grand total of 16km. On the second day, we took our time and enjoyed taking pictures with a more relaxed schedule.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
